The importance of pictures

Could someone show me a picture of the sway bar and strut rod how they clamp together ? They dont seem to line up right ? 65 plymouth fury. Too much time has passed since i took it apart.

Here you go!

The swaybar connects with the clamp ABOVE the strut rod. The strut rod bushing has a large piece with a flat end that indexes in the space just below the swaybar.

Thanks ross your pictures helped alot, except i had to take it back apart because you cant get the shocks in without dropping down the control arm. I usualy only have to do everything twice.

Are you referring to the lower bolt on the shocks? Make sure you have the nut towards the front of the car, or else this will always happen...
