Was very sad day I shipped out my 300, renault and my little track bmw. I am moving from Texas to buffalo ny to help out my parents. 3rd week July I'll be up there and I am going to surprise my 93yo grandfather, as the 300 was his and he hasn't seen it run in almost 20 years. He hasn't long left so that's why I shipped the cars now.

I recommend studded snow tires all around.

Lol no, the 300 has never seen snow. I still have one car I have to drive there. 2015 200. Fwd will be fine with some blizzak tires. I was born and raised there so I know what I'm getting into. May pick up a 4x4 ram that may be a few years old for the really bad days! My parents worked so hard to put me thru school and have always given me support. Just the right thing to do to be there now. Honestly I'm tired of the heat! A few years will be ok there then I'll be heading south again.

Your a good son and Grandson! I do feel your pain as I grew up in MA and lived in San Antonio for a few years. I did NOT miss the winters up north and saw the overall better condition of cars living in the south. I had a 69 Olds Cutlass there as well as a 70 Malibu and ,,,,a 72 4 door 360 FURY!! I remember driving twards Boston from Texas in my Fury with my V2 AC compressor with real Freon cranking away on the highway in 100 degree weather causing snow squalls in the back seat!!! Ahh the good old days!!

PS I was kidding about the snow tires.

I also had the advantage when living in Texas because of my job to go north from late May through September,,so I know what you mean about the heat! It can be brutal!
