None of the three is mine.

The first is for sale in Minnesota, although the plates inside the trunk hint at a previous life in Louisiana. It now has a "rebuilt 440" but, if I read correctly the fuzzy VIN photo, it is an L-code and so must have been born with a 383-2 beating under its hood (which happens to sport a 383 badge, confirming the reading). Whether the seller has no clue or the engine has been changed, I'll let folks chime in.

The car seems pretty basic -- bench seat, 2-speed wipers, and I don't see a power booster -- could it be a rare car without power brakes? The roof does not look original, and there are a number of changes in the engine bay. For example, I see A/C vents inside but the A/C unit seems to have been removed. Price seems high at $18.5k.

PS: The VIN looks like PM27L0D144651 -- in which case it was built the same day as @1970FuryConv 's G-code Fury 'vert, or the day after!

383 badging is correct for what the car came from the factory with. After market valve covers, air cleaner and crank case breathers. Heater control is also after market. Car is missing rubber splash shields over the UCA. Also appears to be doing some territory making with what looks like coolant. Master cylinder appears to be correct for a manual drum car. After market top is loose on the bows and sagging between them. Trunk mat is an after market unit, after market wheels and if the car came with road wheels, the spare should not have a center cap. Radiator looks odd in the photo. Trim line is off on the driver's door and there appears to be bondo on the driver side rocker and maybe on the door and front fender on that side, body curve does not look right in the photo.

Pricing is very aggressive for a non factory 440 vert. Since this vehicle has fresh paint, a detailed inspection is warranted to see what the repaint is hiding. Thinking this is about a $7.5k car if the body is solid.

The second car I recently found in Mississippi is not mine either. PM27G0D15798? was ironically manufactured on the same day as (Nov. 12, 1969), or the day before, PM27G0D158067 -- another Fury 'vert that @Yeahrightgreer had toyed with buying last month.

This car is painted white and the top is while, though the lack of tag picture makes it hard to know if those are original. The car has its original small block but has been repainted, with a dent in the passenger front fender. It has a new blue bench interior said to be in the original pattern, though the dash pad is covered. The hideaway headlights are not original, of course.

The washer bottle is missing from the engine bay, and the pics suggest to me that there might be an issue with one of the passenger-side windows.

Despite the dash clock and factory A/C, it looks also like a pretty basic car -- 318, 2-speed wipers, manual brakes, etc. The asking price is $12.5k.

The last one (not mine!) is for sale on CL in Arkansas, just east of Eureka Springs. This car is white as well, with a black bench interior. It is in much rougher shape than the other two. The original 318 comes with the car but is not in it.

The asking price is much lower, but even $1.8k is high for a car this rough (cue the missing instruments, lower body rust, etc.).

Car #2, Custom interior, belts are off the A/C and alternator. Engine should be blue on an air conditioned car. Some kind of shiny detail crap on radiator hose and black heater hose. Dents in passenger door and fender. Joint for the passenger door/quarter appears ratty and irregular. Driver side rocker looks to have significant bondo. Custom headlight covers, wonder how he sees to drive at night. I do not see a power steering pump, might be manual steering in addition to manual brakes. The master cylinder appears to be an earlier '67-68 unit, it would still work for this application, but I do not think it is correct. Given the missing belts, I have to think this was a project that somebody gave up on and it is probably not a runner? If so the seller is going to be lucky to get half the asking price.

Car #3 is pretty far gone, might be more suitable for parts. A lot would depend on how much rust is on the floors and frame. I suspect that this car may also have bondo on the rockers, so it may have been cleaned up at least once before which does not make it a good candidate for another go round. Missing a lot of trim and the instruments also suggest it may have been in the process of being parted out. Lots of mold on the interior suggests extended outside storage.

One look at the engine bay photo told me car #1 is infact a 440. A 440 has something a 383 does not.

Open Headlight grill. Fabbed headlight covers look cheap and fake to me. Agree 100% Dave.
