I need to replace my throttle cable in my 66 Polara, as mine has decide to break (the u shape bracket that attached to the throttle linkage on the carb). I can't remember where I got one 10 years ago. I'll hunt for one but if anyone knows offhand where to get one, let me know. Thanks!

A word to the wise - don't lose the clip on the inside of the firewall....... I did so the cable will come w/o one.:BangHead:

Ok. I'm pretty sure I put my cable on with the engine removed, can't wait to play with them while removing and installing, can you say "tight"?

Got the cable from Mike. Right away I noticed it's alot shorter than what I took out. "Maybe I can use a different bracket in the intake." Got it installed in the firewall, after having the clip pop off and fall behind the carpet at least 6-7 times. My back felt it the next day. Looked in the engine bay and knew it wasn't going to work. Bummer. Ordered a new cable from Mancini and got it today. Put it in last night, got the clip on the first try.
