Tire and wheel combo

You have a ton of options available. For years I talked about doing the upgrade from the stock power drums on my 68 to discs. Finally, about 3 years ago, I did the upgrade to 73 Chrysler discs. This forced me out of my original 14" Magnums. I initially thought a set of 15" reproduction Magnums but some very knowledgeable friends advised me to check out the American Racing VN501. It is aluminum but looks very much like a Magnum 500 and comes in larger wheel sizes, allowing you to go with modern performance rubber which is better and cheaper than what is available today in 15" sizes. The prices for 15" reproduction Magnums and low tech T/A radials was MUCH higher than these wheels with modern hi-performance tires, so I saved a ton of money and got better handling too. If you want to check these out they are 17 x 7 with 235/55ZR17 BFG g-force comp-2 tires.

Just another option to consider. Good luck and happy motoring!
