Has anyone heard good or bad things about Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires? I need to get a set put on a Town & Country minivan, at $63 apiece, all 4 for out the door for $275. I heard of issues with Uniroyal a long time ago, but haven't heard of anything in the last 20 yrs, any opinions? image.jpgimage.jpg

Those issues were before half the members in this forum were born.
I think they are safe by now.

It's amazing the difference in prices, I've looked at Falkens, Hankooks, Goodyear, Michelin, etc all about the same mileage warranty, got prices from $90 to $199 apiece. The car came with Yokohamas from factory. Usually Chrysler used more of an "American" made tire back in 2008 I thought. It's sad that even Cooper sold out to the Chinese. I guess that in 4 or 5 yrs I can throw them away and get new ones, that's the way things are these days

I believe the U.S. has the highest min. tire standards outside of Germany.
If the tire has all the stampings, there is no reason for me not to buy it.
'Mericans been buying imported Michelins for 50+ years.

Those look great, I had never seen a white wall tiger paw tire before, only seen raised white letter or Blackwalls. I'll keep this in mind when replacing the tires on my car. Thanks 440sled

I have found that Chrysler used some weird sizes. My 02 300m came with 225/55r17 only two manufactures even make that size Yokohama and the original Firestone this makes the price kind of high, however I have found Tire Rack website helpful by putting in your size it will spit out all offered by manufacture, price, ect. If you bump your size around for example I put in 235/55r17 and boom there are like 20 different tire brands, price drops because I hit a popular size that the almighty GM and Toyota use, just some food for thought with out listening to some a-hole tire counter guy lip service and shopping in my underwear is waaaay better than leaving the house.
