Would anyone be interested in trading a c body for an a body? I have a 76 Dart, not a swinger or sport. Very solid, its a running driving car. I know its a c body forum but maybe?... 6 cyl p/s manual drum brakes, a/c (needs charge) 72k mls auto

Looks like a decent start to a nice driver. LOVE this 225’s.. my first car had one.. I miss that car ALLOT.. good luck though. Someone may jump on it for there kid.. I would if mine were close to driving age..

Thanks for posting it here. Looks like some issues under he vinyl top but if otherwise solid it may be the right project for someone. Good luck with it.

I like it! End of the line A body.

I've had many daydreams regarding things I'd like to do with a late-A.

1) Put on all the parts from a Brazilian "Magnum" or some other South American oddity.

2) Since there are a lot of later parts that still fit A bodies, I'd create some kind of phantom 1990 Dart using late B-van door handles, M-body airbag steering column, M-body seats, 1990 Caprice headlights, etc. All of this I'd power with an EFI turbo /6 that looks as "factory" as possible. If I was really nuts, I'd try to do the turbo-diesel /6 that was in the works.

Good Luck With Trade

If it were a '71-'75, and didn't have all that rot on it, I would be interested, especially if it were a /6 4-speed car. But a '76 in California is a Smog Car, and I would not be interested.

I,ve always loved the last series of darts.May be the last every day used, reliable american car ever made. They just ran forever with the 226.I bet the 318 was great in that little car.Chrysler,or fiat, made a huge mistake in not building a retro looking Dart.B.B
