Any one know if the Exploded View Diagram, (came with Gates 350380 Power Steering Repair Kit) shows the right Orientation of the Slippers?​

1970 does not look the same. Maybe 1968 TRW is different.

I tried rebuilding mine. Its a bit of a challenge to find the correct rebuild kit. I had mine to the stage yours is in and replaced what parts in the kit that matched, which was very few. Upon assembly (by memory), it was quite tight turning, almost a grinding. Not like another used one I had on the shelf. I haven't installed it yet as it just did not feel correct. Maybe becuase it wasn't lubed like the old one. Not to be discouraging, however not sure I would try it again. Getting that rotor with the paddles in correctly and then the pressure adjustment is more than I anticipated. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Does anybody know how to uninstall the inner part out of the case?
