NOT MINE Two Monaco 2drs in Alberta: 1971 in Rimbey, AB (383-2, blue-on-blue) & 1970 in Hanna, AB (318, orange-on-orange)

Paging @3C's & a D? and other Alberta members. DH23L1D320483 is currently for sale on Kijiji near Edmonton. Looks like it may be GB2 blue outside, the interior looks like H3B2, and it may be a Canadian-market car. First 1971 Monaco I have seen with the base (for a Monaco) W-11 wheel covers (most have road wheels or W-13 covers like those on Medina, my 1971 US-market Monaco).

(Addition 6-14 from the ad: "Running 275 HP 383, yard drives but has no brakes. Has been in the family for over 40 years, shedded for the last 20 years. It’s at Allen Olson’s Rimbey Auction site and online bidding will run June 16-20th. Can be seen also online starting June 16 at" Allen Bolton Auctions.)

I'm surprised it's still for sale, the ad's been up for over a month now. I didn't see the video, sounds like it needs a tune up, that would be the easy part. '71 Monaco two doors rarely come up for sale in any condition, so it is tempting. No room at the inn is my excuse and I'm sticking to it! I do have a spare heater box from a '71 Polara that should be correct for this car if it doesn't come with the original.

It's going on the auction block. I forgot that part myself, seems like an odd way to sell a car in that condition, but what do I know? It could work in his favour, plus not having to deal with tire kickers.

I looked at all the pics and was ready to throw in a bid, but then I noticed the flex hose. Couldn't do it, and I'm sticking with that story. That car is nice though.

Thank you. At that price, DH23L1D320483 would be a great deal for the right person -- though there is some rust (cue the rear quarters).
