I was amazed at the half assed things people are doing to classic cars to try and make a buck.

My preference in buying a classic C body is fresh pickin' from the garage of the original owner/owner's estate. To many classics are flipped by shady dealers/flippers and there is often something hiding. They have you paying too much for something that needs to be repaired.

I am guessing C bodies have largely escaped this kind of treatment.

Seemingly for now but as we are seeing C body prices rise, I am sure we will be dealing with it.
