I was just kidding and poking fun at the whole mention of a date code.
I cleaned up all the old parts , painted up the arms and other parts. Installed the bushings , installed the arm and went to install the joint and it went in way to easy and never tightened up, the ***** is stripped
Murray is sending out an arm. I will have it before Friday.

I had that happen and got a good one from Dana. When it happened though I actually tack welded the new ball joint in which is acceptable but then the new Chinese made joint wouldn't hold its grease...
No sense of humor when I'm working.
I've never had it happen but I can see how it could. I almost didn't get the right side in.
I probably should have did the Firm Feel uppers and avoided any problems
