USCT Subframe connectors, torque boxes, spring relocation and minitub parts coming for C-body.

How about 81-83 Imperial with 5.2 or 5.9 Magnum, A500 OD trans, and 8.25" from a suitable Jeep to get 3.73 gears or so.
Use a carbureted intake with a modern Holley, MSD or EZ-EFI throttle body setup.
Would make a nice peppy cruiser, easier to build with a lot less expense vs a new Hemi?

That is a option. The intake on Magnums are terrible, leaky bottom plate, too tall, stupid hall effect crank and cam sensors. Only up side is the architecture of the block is drop in. 500, & 518(too big/friction for this application), are terrible transmissions in general. A first gen of 3G Hemi is now cheap/small port, coupled with a 545 trans that is fully PCM controlled. 2010 up with variable cam timing and active manifold is excellent at moving 5800# 1500 4x4 so a 4500# formal is easy as pie, but more money.
