Vintage air system for 68 Fury III

My dryer is fine, it wasnt open. I will probably have an ac sho vacuum and charge the system correctly.

Alright. its alive!!! Blows cold too! Now.... do you know what the difference is between the "max AC" and "AC" button?

Max A/C recirculates the inside air and cools faster. A/C blends in outside air. Down here in Texas Max AC is on all the time!

Sigh... with the AC on, my electric fan seems to be overworked. At idle my temp hangs right at 188° but as soon as I start driving and then stop, it slowly keeps climbing and the fan cant catch up. I guess I'll be upgrading some fan and alternator now.

First thing to check is that your lower radiator hose has a spring inside to keep it from collapsing.

No spring. Never had an issue with this for the last 8 years. I think its the extra heat from the condenser...

You need the spring, trust me I speak from personal experience on a 67 GTX.
