This picture is from the movie "It Started with a Kiss" starring Debbie Reynolds and Glenn Ford.

This one is a reproduction of the original. I think it's the Bob Butts built car. The painted side trim and grille gives it away. Lincoln Futura - Wikipedia

first time in my life was this thread today ... and I am old as hell

not many cars shows when I was growing up, plus my Dad was a GM guy and we hung out at the dealer late summer before school started to check out new models

IIRC, I saw that car at the huge New York City International Car show in 1966. I still have the program from that.

My parents took me to NYC on vacation a few times. Saw the Worlds Fair in both 1964 and 1965. I think the 1966 trip was so my Mom could go to the Radio City Easter show and we went to the big car show while there. I remember seeing a bunch of cars, including some customs that I had built models of.

I have never been back there since I grew up.... No desire at all to visit. Closest I come is across the river at the cruise ship dock in NJ.
