Was your work area really disorganized because of the harsh winter? Mine was.

Finally got some stuff organized so I could get some floor space. Then I can move stuff over from another section so I can install another window. Eventually everything will get in its proper place. Then I'm putting in a woodburner I purchased. Maybe being warmer will help in keeping it organized.

I've seen much worse..:)
you should watch American Pickers! :D
I met a guy named Bob Pound in Jackson Tennessee several years ago. He was a car/bike/anything hoarder. Engineer by profession, and a really neat guy. He died a few years later, and his place was on the American Pickers. He had 2 Cords, Model A & T's, many old bikes etc. Zero room to actually enter his garage. What they did not show is the other places/garages that he had. Packards in a field, a T Bucket that was on a Hot Rod cover/feature car in the 70's, and many other things. He loved them all.

I like that show. I could easily be a hoarder of kool stuff if I had lots of time and money.

I remember the episode...
Yeah sad. Bob was a really neat guy, and loved showing all of his stuff. The neatest thing I saw was a working steam locomotive, about three feet long, that you could ride on. He built it.

I've got a teardrop trailer project and my D100 lowered truck project going, plus a bit of maintainance on my Coronet, New Yorker and Imperial going, and that POS Grand Marquis that belongs to my son. Oh, yeah, the tractor...can't forget the tractor. So, my shop is disorganized most all the time, not just in the Wintertime.

Small Mopar parts are in the chest of drawers, large ones in the shed I attached to the outside of the barn a coulpe of years ago.

We use the extra chairs for parties a couple of times a year. There's also 2 round tables with removeable tops. That stuff will go in a few years when the stepkids settle into a home of their own.

That is no mess, you have room to work. For me to work I need to move all the parts to get the car, the parts I need are never on top. It doesn't help I have parts to 3 cars mixed in to pick from.

Alan, that sounds like a difficult situation, but the work you are getting done is great. I hope to have all the "stuff" arranged around the perimeter, thus creating a larger work/storage space. Tom

This was seven months ago before I collected up all the other parts, the floor under the car is covered. Some new and restored parts are in the car.

Get rid of the extra chairs and rent them when you need them. It's cheap... and you save a lot of room.

I tossed all the extra chairs ten years ago.. I rent a couple tables and a bunch of chairs when I need them. Costs me $20 tops.
