So talking with a bud last night. My 64 Chrysler Newport came up. He said it weighed 6000 pounds. I say no way. Thinking less than 5 thousand. Another bud has a 77 New Yorker 400 auto A/C & his scaled at 5500. I would think my 64 would be lighter than that. Anyone know for sure. It's a 361 big block, auto & no A/C. Got to be under 5 right?

Yeah, with 45 airbags and all that extra crap...people don't realize how bloated and heavy new cars really are!

My '66 Imperial convertible, which is truly a heavy automobile, weighs 5,245 lbs.
