Currently daily driving a 72 Newport. I have owned many big cars from the big 3 over the years. I also have a 67 Imperial that I hope to be driving by next summer. Figured I’d join and contribute some pictures at least

The garage pics are from my work, I do most of my work on my cars there. I have a modest 2 bay attached garage at home, not quite as roomy as the shop.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Let’s see and get some details on that Imp.

I had to dig a bit to find some Imperial pics, took pics of pics. The pics are when we brought it home in 2001 when I was 15. I was going to buy a 66 300 back then until my parents spotted the Imp behind a Chrysler dealership a couple towns over. The car was originally from California until it’s owner moved to Canada in 76, the car was in storage from late 77 until I bought it. I assumed it was parked because of a tired engine, by the records that came with it, it has 188000 miles, the engine was siezed when I got it. The car has been in storage in a shed since the fall of 01. It was originally silver with the black vinyl top, it is in great shape underneath, very solid car, the interior is pretty good, some of the wood has come unglued but nothing time can’t help. In hindsight I’m glad I never got it together back when because I probably would have thrashed the heck out of it if I did. In the under shot you can see my house in the background, it was my grandparents house back then, never thought of it being mine today, I had a chuckle when I saw that.

Here’s the Imperial as it sits now. Life and 10 or so other old cars kept me away. My kids are older now and I’m not getting any younger so it’s time is coming soon.

That’s a good looking Imp! I am partial to the ‘67s and I happen to have a silver one.:)

Crown Coupe.

Welcome, looking forward to seeing more of your cars, especially the buried '67 :)

Welcome. Love the 1972 Newport! When you have a chance, can you post more views of it from different angles? Thanks.

Belated welcome. Looks like your Newport Royal is GY9 Tawny Gold? I looked for the tag in your garage but did not see it, so I have to guess.
