Welcome, R&R

Thank You. Lifelong Fan of all things Chrysler. 62-65 b bodies especially. Currently own a 65 Newport 4 door hardtop. 383 4bbl. Power Windows, no a/c. Bought it in 1999. Previous cars were 68 Newport, 70 Challenger SE, 63 Polara, 64 Polara convertible, 65 Coronet, 66 & 67 Chargers, 67 Belvedere, and other A bodies. Not sure what I’m going to do with the current 65 Newport. It just sits around getting rusty these days. I’m sure I can learn a lot from this site. Might even be able to help someone else based on my experience. It’s rare but rewarding when I can.

My first question. My 65 has the round speedometer/dash. I thought 65 was the last year, and 66 had the new style. Recently saw a 66 with the round speedometer. Maybe they offered both in 66 on different models? Newport, New Yorker,300? What did I miss? Did the 66 I saw have a 65 dash? Looked to be an original car. Can’t remember which model it was. Anybody?
