It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigaretts, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit it!

Hi!
Let me start by saying that I'm very unfamiliar with the Chrysler/Dodge family! But I do, and will need help! I have what I believe to be the only 1974 Dodge Monaco (Bluesmobile) in Australia
(The Bluesmobile).

It's as close as possible to Blues Brothers movie authentic as possible, with the only significant difference being that it is a hard top rather than a sedan. The person who imported it took out the 400 and put a 440 with Holley 750 and Torker intake. Has a 727 auto with B&M Stage 2 kit into a 8.75 diff geared to 2.7:1

Some might cringe that 4 of us have already run it in two bash events (Splash - Variety) and will be taking it on a third next year, rather than keeping it in immaculate condition!

That said, I'm struggling (as expected) to find some parts. I've had some success with more common parts from local suppliers in Australia, but I think I need to start finding other sources, probably in the US.

I'll have a browse through the forums and will no doubt create some threads looking for specific answers if I can't find them through searching..

Mark.

Certainly a unique vehicle and you won't see yourself coming the other way

If I can suggest joining an aussie mopar club as they can certainly assist with local parts, service and repairs.

A well respected C-body parts supplier in Ohio called Murray B. Park has lots of stuff. The following link
Www.cbodies.com/categories.asp?cat=410
will take you to the 1964 dodge c body parts list. As there may be things not yet listed, email him to inquire.

Hello and welcome from Christchurch NZ
