When i was small, i used to get presents from my dad who lived in Canada, they were classic american matchbox cars. I then knew i would one day buy a true automobile :)

Hi everyone, nice to join the c-body forum. Looking through google recently, i actually found an add of my car on this forum :) It's a 1971 Chrysler Newport Custom, coupe.

For Sale - 1971 Chrysler Newport Custom - 383 V8 - $4000 (Linden)

Now the car is in Poland, awaiting restoration, will let you know how it goes. It does run and drive, and is in decent shape, but most importantly it is all original. Does require TLC - bodywork, paint, and probably engine work because the oil light came on a few times, so it might have low oil pressure from shot bearings ;)

My adventure with US cars started with a 3gen Camaro, 305ci TBI w/ 5 speed manual box. Had it for 16 years, when i sold it was in great shape, mostly new parts all around.

In recent years when going to car shows, i saw a few c-body mopars, and always loved the look. Really happy to own one now.

My old Camaro, and the Chrysler

Hello and welcome from Christchurch NZ.

thanks for the warm welcome guys. LeBaron, funny you're from New Zealand, i just watched "The Worlds Fastest Indian" last night, having a glass of whiskey :)

There has been some progress recently. My local American Car mechanic (All American Stunt's Service) has removed the powertrain to have it checked, and rebuilt if necessary...
