Looks like a triple black car, maybe he could still be talked out of the drive train. A whole lot of cool there!

He wants 25-hundred without the drivetrain.
Show interest in the drivetrain and he'll want 10k.

:elmer:

Probably, but he will own it for some time at this price, unless someone just has to have it. Reality will eventually set in.

He needs a reality check. Someone needs to go there and ***** slap him til he cries, tells him he will sell for 3-4k which includes the drivetrain or he will keep getting bitched slap. End of story. It's obvious he has no interest in the car. Someone probably whispered in his ear that just because it was a 1 owner car, its rare and worth a lot. I detest individuals that try to pull this crap in the whole car hobby.:soapbox:........ok....I have calmed down now

It’s ads like this that get cars crushed or derbied. $2500 with the driveline will put it in the hands of someone that will do something with it, even without the title.

This car seems to be still with original paint I'd say judging by the pinstriping; seems to have been in good shape till someone decided to store it outside for a few years.

$2500.00 w/drive train intact would be fair, assuming the car is mostly intact and not badly rusted.
The voice of reason from a serious buyer may prevail. Nice project for someone.
I'd be drooling if it were a 69.

I agree with shooter65, sounds fishy, with a death certificate I would think would be able to get a title if your family. With some effort I would think he could get the title, either he doesn't own it or is too lazy to put forth the effort.

I'm going to say it's not original paint. From the pictures it looks like the clearcoat is delaminating from the base coat. Since they weren't Base/clear from the factory back then My guess is it's a repaint.

Road wheels = $200... whats the grille worth? and does it have a good T&T wheel?

he might get to a grand in parts... maybe it'll show up at Carlisle... in pieces...

Gee, I didn't see that until some closer inspection, I realized it's also the wrong stripe and a tad too high. How come you know so much about car paint ? :p
