Of two 66 4 dr hard tops C bodies parked next to each other at a restaurant? Actually pretty good since it was at our regular Thursday car guy lunch. My buddy Rob has the 66 300 that his Grandparents bought brand new in 66. And of course the New Yorker is mine. Must've been quite a sight to see us cruising down the road together.

Hood ornament on a 300 but no hood ornament on a NY'er in 1966?

Yes. Quite a few differences between them even though they are basically the same. I actually like the looks of the 300 a little better than my New Yorker but I like the 440 in my NY'er better than the 383's in the 300's.

Yeah, I would rather have the 440 too!

I know this has a little to do with the camera angle but it looks like that fiat is less than half the length of the New Yorker. Maybe that can be your hood ornament.

The Fiat parked next to your ride is just a little longer than hood of your New Yorker. The last pic is a nice example of how small cars have gotten since 1966.
BTW the weather looks great in AZ, compared to being 32 and cloudy around here.
