Ok so i am looking to recover some of my vinyl coated items and I have been looking around to find vinyl stock that does not have cloth backing. It is used for vacuum forming onto an object, does anyone know who supplies this stuff? Theres plenty of normal cloth backed vinyl around in rolls but I just want pure vinyl in sheets.

Thanks for BOTH the tips Stan, I wonder how my vinyl parts would look recovered in that black shiny stuff?

Crap I checked, they sell in 60yard rolls I may ask em if they have a local retailer who buys form them.

Had guests over last night. One of them loves to sew and is addicted to Joanne's Fabrics.
Asked her about "unbacked vinyl". And she said "Yah - shower curtain fabric..."
