Where was this Mopar Brochure/Ad Photo shot?

Prior to the current configuration, the crosswalks were different. This went back to day one as well.

Where is the 1964 Bonnevill
e?

1. Northeastern United States City and State?
2. Generally speaking, is location still there? Yes, No?
3. If yes, can you get a recognizable digital picture today (61 years later)?

Definition of the northeast US (nine states) according to the Census Bureau.

No trickery here, very little to no artistic license by illustrators (Fitz and Van were actually faithful to the contemporary locations of their illustrations, almost every location they visited in person, and they always used photographs for accuracy beyond their memories) in their original illustration.

So the third question. Still there? Can you recognize it today, if so? Only way to know 3.,, is to find the location -- thats hardest part, but then you'll know everything if you do.

Answer Thursday or Friday. This one might challenge the best of you all, IF you havent been/are not from here.

Still there, different shops but imminently recognizable. This one was HARD to find, and happened to be in same city as #846.

New Game. Last one for me as OP until fall 2025.

Where is this 1963 Ford Fairlane?

1. Specific US city, state, and location in that city?
2. This location still there today?

One clue: "Don't throw stones" here. :poke:

Answer next Monday.

#864. Ford World Heaquarters, West Side, Dearborn, MI. Colloquially called the "Glass House".

The rectangular building (opened in 1956) faces "south", so technically the east/west end (some signage has been added) look pretty much the same.

Unless you found this photo online (which tells where the Fairlane was), or know that area firsthand, the far right background in the photo is the south easterly side (and only that side) of the building.

If you said it was taken at the Ford World HQ, that's plenty accurate enough.

Adios 'til the fall.
