Who still prefers the printed page?

I called today in regards to a missed print delivery,(Gannett owns local paper) and I was speaking to someone in the Philippines ! Like they know what an American Newspaper is !
No choice of speaking to someone in the USA.
 
Dropping a deuce will never be the same when I'm forced to bring the laptop for reading material... and no, I do NOT want to try to read my stupid phone in there... just grosses me out.
 
WAAAAY BACK IN THE EARLY+MID '80S I waz living in Michigan and had two brothers and a sister living in SoCal. I made a deal with one of my brothers out there that if he would bundle a minimum of 4 weeks and maximum of 6 weeks and wrap the want-ad section of the Los Angles Times Sunday Addition in hiz old used 50# brown paper shopping bags and snail mail them to me I'd buy hiz Sunday LA Times for him. Worked great for almost 4 yearz and I found and bought more then a few carz from the LA Basin, Bay Area, and the Phoenix Area out of those want ads. But when I started re-doing the Batwagon and a rust free '68 Barracuda Convertible for My Ever Lovin' at the same time. To continue collecting those want ads after those acquisitions seamed somewhat of a waste of time and $, but that waz better then just good reading back then and some times I still miss the readin' sessions, Jer
