Windshield wiper plastic piece broken for 1978 Chrysler New Yorker

Hello,
Anyone know where I can find this plastic piece that goes to 1978 Chrysler New Yorker? Motor works but found this piece broken inside

Try Mars or Saturn cause they don’t exist on our planet.. lol, but seriously! VERY common problem on 78’s.. Do a search of the forums and you find all you need to replace that Cam. Will involve some fab work but it can be done.

Wiper motor pivot bushing. The help products used make them but find a OEM mopar one and grease where the ball linkage goes into! Ocassionally you can find them in the Mopar rebuild kits. Get a part number of a IPB. Tommy at parts hound might have one.

I recommend using petroleum-free grease on anything plastic.

I have a 77 NYB so no, didn’t effect 77 or before, unfortunately it’s a 78 and beyond thing. As I mentioned, the issue is fixable, just search the forums and you’ll find that pot of gold.

Not impressive enough to have the '78 C-body only bushing.

According to Roseville who is a Chrysler dealer, the red one fits all platforms in 78. Whether that's accurate, I know.

They don't have stock but Van's show it available.

That's new. Never seen that offered before.
What bothers me is the description, All bodies, 75-79.
They are going to get 90% of them returned.
I'll be extremely interested in knowing it is a 78 c body bushing.

Well they fit mine. It’s a 78.
