Can someone direct me to a thread on where to find the bushing that connects the wiper linkage to the linkage on the motor for my 78 New Yorker Brougham? Its about the size of a quarter or so. As you would imagine, a thread search on wiper chrysler bushing linkage yields large results LOL. Thanx

We did mine 2-3 years ago and I ordered more than one that was not correct. The Dodge full size van was one of them. If I remember correctly I went to O'Reilly and they had some on the shelf. Take the remants of your old one along and go to a good parts store.

Pete, whatever bushing you got from them, will not fit a 78 C-body.
None exist anywhere.

Yeah I have the smaller bushings for the wiper linkages but this one fits directly on the wiper motor arm and attaches the wiper linkages to the wiper motor arm. Based on commandos reply, sounds like I'm fanning one. Thanx guys

Hi
Try a company called Dorman they carry all sorts of clips and stuff. I needed the linkage pivot connectors for my '77 and they had them.

No NOS wiper cam' s exist on the planet for 78 C-bodies. No repop's (that work) either. The fix is fabricating the 74-77 small wiper cam from a donor car. I'm not at home right now but I posted a couple of threads with photo's in the past on how to fab the 74-77 small cam fix.

Another alternative fix that I heard of is getting the crank arm off a 79 Cordoba wiper motor and use the big cam repop that is available on EBay for Cordoba's. It's an orange colored cam. I haven't seen or witnessed that this setup actually works but simply relaying what I've heard on the FB C-bodies keep them rolling page.

Chrysler still sells the original bushings. Tell them It's for a 96 Ram Van. Very well constructed and will last forever compared to Dorman and/or Help.
