i guess no one got this? it's gumball rally.

Ok, so it's not the same car. I was making a supposition; actually have not watched the show in over 30 years. It clearly left an impression on your though.
I don't think I ever watched it but as an active E body convertible guy these things get talked about in those circles.

You never watched it? Oh wow, I loved it!

I knew the car was faked, but, didn't know that when the show was new. Wonder whatever happened to it?

Well that explains why i never saw that flick. Can not stand the Depp kid.
"First rule of Italian driving; what's behind me doesn't concern me." Such a better movie than those things Burt Reynolds was in.
The first rule of driving! Raul Julia
The driving sequence with the Cobra and the Ferrari is classic.

It was on eBay in the past but I don't know who has it now.

This is an obscure scene in a movie (three theatrical versions and then FOUR made for TV movies) that I didn't see.

The theatrical trilogy progressively got worse (the second one so unwatchable I didnt go see the third one) after the 1977 blockbuster original which starred a fast car, a big truck, police cars, and a cowboy hat (plus some actors mixed in :)).

This shot is alleged to be from the THIRD movie made in 1983 -- again, which I didnt see -- but the source is reliable.

Again, this Mopar was NOT a featured car in that movie. So if the clues above don't help I/D the movie, you can always "Google Search" the image and find it that way if all else fails :)

Then, what did you think of the movie IF you saw it?

this one was seen in this movie too.

the third one was awful. it didn't even have the lead character in it. just automotive carnage.

you obviously know the movie :). you can post it or wait until somebody else gets it.

I heard it was a demo derby in the worst sense of that term. a lot them might have been wrecks to begin with -- it was a low budget flick. and yes, our "hero" only had a cameo near/at the end.

Did this '73 Polara made it through unscathed? doesn't look like real GA statie .. decals are whacked but maybe its in somebody's garage right now.

i'll give someone else a chance. i don't remember what happened to the dodge.

My girl was in her prime in the 1st movie.

well, at least three of us know the movies. i always liked "your girl" too .. starting with her TV days as a "high flyer" up to today. :)

I will post it tonight if nobody steps up.

Serge cracked my up.
