my console has a tachometer housing, but tach was not ordered dose anyone make a tach that will go in my housing ? thank you

Is there anything in it? They also had vacuum or "Performance" gauges in that same pod.

Automatics got the vac gauge/Performance Meter and manual trans got the tach, unless you ordered the tach itself on the automatic trans cars?

Believe your car's a '65? They used to make a repro bolt-in tach that was expensive & had a face that didn't match the original. A 3-3/8" panel mount tach can be made to work but you'll need to fab a bracket to hold it in. What you want is one that has a minimal bezel so that it can fit as flush to the factory chrome bezel as possible. I used a VDO 333155 but it appears that's obsolete.

Believe in '65 you either paid for the tach separately or you got a decorative plate for Dodge/ Plymouth, no vac gauge available. Believe the 300 did come with a vac gauge, someone with a 65 300 correct me if I'm wrong.
