correct, keyword "cared"...much more care effort involved to keep that white interior looking as sharp as other darker colors (green, brown, dark red, etc). Father-n-law had white (well, off white) interior in 68 Cougar. He was always in that car wiping this or polishing that for smudges after going somewhere. We'd go to church with them on sundays and he's spend sunday afternoon chasing smudges and blemishes from normal use.....those look esp. bad in an otherwise pristine white interior.
