Another,AnotherAnother,Another 1961 FURY

That is an AMAZING looking car you have there. Looks to be quite a lot of work bringing her back but sounds to me like you've done this before. She will be awesome when you have her completed. Best of luck !!

That is my next project in the future getting my bumpers rechromed but not until I get the money saved up

I would use tri city plating in Tennessee in your area. I've never used them before, but have heard many good things about them.
Knoxville area . I do not want to drive that far. I heard there is a place in Florence , AL that is closer to me

Tri city receives and ships every day. The plater in Florence is not set up to plate bumpers and won't do as good a job as tri city. They are good at smaller, pot metal parts, but.... are VERY expensive. I've used them, good work, just cost to much.

In California (most)chrome plating work is collected by a vendor in bulk, then trucked to Mexico then trucked back to California to avoid costly regulation.
Who knows? maybe Florence Tn shop sends the bumpers to tri city and just marks them up?

I'm going to keep fury very stock except for a few 1961 vintage speed goodies.
I located a NOS 61 8.5 sun tach just like the one that's in it now.
Also a radatron vintage tach. Not sure which one I'm going to use?
Maybe the Sun just in case I need that extra .50 RPM!
A better condition 1961 hurst yoyo shifter. Sending off to chrome shop.
Going to have a shifter knob recast in clear sparkle to match aero wheel.
A rare set off 4 bolt BB 413 weiand valve covers and timing chain cover

Some pics of 61 from Texas. Car is one of those could be a great parts car or be restored. Kinda stuck in between.
Has great trim, good sheet metal, decent floors. Aero wheel core, mascara trim, A/C, one nice stone guard.
Bad interior, whacked passenger 1/4 panel with horrible body work. Time to put all my 61s together and start the project.

Nice!

Looks like the cat is guarding the Forward Look!

IDK if that's "feed me" or "you woke me, amuse me" but kitty's getting demanding
