68 Monaco 500 Body Trim

I have been told that all Monaco 500's came with the wide lower body trim. My car didn't have it when I got it.
Does anyone have any for sale or know where to get it?

The 500 was relatively low production, so your only hope is the internet or a junkyard miracle. Desert Valley Auto Parts had one years ago. Gone now I'm sure, but possible its still there. Does your car have the large cornering lights on the front fenders? If not, may not be a 500. Also, '67 Monaco 500's had the same trim but no cornering light (just flat metal trim in its place) so there is another source. Frankly, most 500 owners probably hoard whatever trim they find against possible future damage. Finally, I'm not sure Canadian built 500's had all the trim....I've seen with and without on cars both represented to be original 500's.
