Brake fluid distribution block arrived in. Need to obtain some pipe and fittings, and start bending pipe.

Didn't do much lately with the holidays, but I did manage to wrangle a broken bulb from a rusty socket in the trunk.

Nothing like the crunch of glass as the metal begins to tear and still not want to move.
That does at least now represent all the bulb holders on the back of the car freed up, that was the passenger side reverse lamp, the wiring for which had been unhooked and tucked down by the lock mechanism in the middle.
I need to get a few more wiring clips, it's missing the middle two.

...just went look for the flexible hoses for the brakes. Nope! No idea where they went to so I guess I'll order a new set, some wheel cylinders, hard lines and fittings.

I went through a bunch of fittings trying to find the correct ones to adapt today's master cylinders to our original brake lines/prop valves. It's stupid.

I'm guessing that's the original mounting bolt for the single brake system pipe distribution block?
How y'all mounted the dual version from later models?

Thanks. This has a lug; i think I'll just cut it off, the chassis leg doesn't have the hole to position it.

Relocated the distribution block to a better location.
Created a brake pipe.

Those are 2 separate circuits in that block aren't they?

There should be. One line to the rear that is split on top of the rear axle and two that run to each side up front.

Yessir, there sure are. It's the later version than the car originally had. I prefer dual circuit brakes if the conversion is readily available.
