It did but the air adjustment screws were broken. This is the second Carter 4bbl I've come across like that. No fixing as I can see due to them being pinned in.

i hope you removed the broadcast sheet from the seat very carefully and put it in a plastic sheath inside a hard cover heavy book to preserve it. that is in great condition by the look of it.

Nice looking Polara, love the skirts. Not in a rush on the paint. Got a little rust in the passenger rear quarter where the spare tire drop down is, wanna get that cleaned up. Focused on window tracks, whiskers, weather stripping and interior for now. Tough finding 4dr sedan door seals. Whiskers back ordered currently and 6 month wait and $1800 for SMS to reproduce seat covers. Fingers crossed the old trashed ones are good enough for patterns. Still looking for a replacement for the passenger 440 4 barrel that was missing

Did remove it with care. Got pressed currently. Was surprised with the great condition. Got a 66 charger and funny found a build sheet under each back seat. 1 matched the VIN of my car 1 didn't. Rough shape thou.

Having the fender tag and matching Production Broadcast sheet is fantastic and will be very helpful. But, I need to be as sure as possible about the computer-printed numbers on the sheet. Please review, confirm, edit, add or delete as best you can the following items. I'm estimating the entries where my tired old eyes discern the characters. I understand the stains and tears may make some of the data impossible to read, even with original in hand. SEQUENCE NUMBER: CM07461?;SHIPPING ORDER: 3840????; DL;45;J;6;4;SEQUENTIAL NUMBER: 135?56; DD1-D;NEXT LINE: L4B;82;5;4--1;2;-POWER ANTENNA? 9 ;TIRES 68; P/B 1;BUMPERGUARDS 1; 4; CIGAR LIGHTER 7-REST OF LINE BLANK;NEXT LINE: 9 UNDER 509; ? UNDER 52_;8 UNDER 548; ADD ANYTHING ELSE UON THIS LINE;NEXT LINE: 8 UNDER 578?;9 UNDER 579;1 UNDER 691;STATION WAGON ITEMS 1 UNDER 461. OTHER ENTRIES MAY BE OF INTEREST TO YOU BUT DO NOT IMPACT THE FENDER TAG. If you, or any other reader interested in the 1966 Production Broadcast sheet would like a copy of my Excel spreadsheet that emulates the original--you can build your own and fill in the missing gaps. A JPEG view of part of yours is attached-as is a very preliminary decode report for your car. Paint colors are Chrysler titles-Dodge color is the same with a slightly less ritzy name. Medium Blue Metallic. Please hang in there with me on this and thanks, again. Have a great week.

Looks like a fun restore. My 1966 Polara has much nicer paint. You plan on painting your long roof? Unless you are a skilled body man & painter. I was quoted over $15,000 to paint my 1990 Buick Wagon. OUCH!

Here is a preliminary decode report on the Charger. Same deal--please review the Production Broadcast sheet, particularly the numbers, if any, under 69_ and 691. Knowing the VIN would complete the SEQUENTIAL NUMBER. Are you or a friend competent with Excel Microsoft spreadsheet program? I'm really wondering about the sweep and door frame colors. I see the car has a red interior, so-mebbeso. As before, the color names are Chrysler names. The A-code silver color always got the special buffed paint treatment. Thanks, again, for the posting and feedback.

Very nice project! Can you tell us the story behind your purchase? I'm working on this "driveway" find. spent 21 years sitting in the driveway in Modesto, Ca , I have pix to prove. I went to google, punched up the address and clicked on more dates and there it was, year after year
