Good evening friends. After some deep searching I have a shop that rebuilds Kelsey Hayes power brake boosters. I have exchanged several emails with Jeff. I sent him photos of my booster and he has the parts on hand to rebuild my booster. 10 days turnaround time is needed. I wanted to go this route to to keep my car original with stock parts. My car is a 65 Monaco. The shop is:

Karps Power Brake Service

12425 Mills Ave ste A8, Chino, CA 91710

Home - KARPS POWER BRAKE SERVICE & CYLINDER SLEEVING

909-985-0800

I will share my experience upon receipt of the rebuilt unit. This car will be for sale once I get the brakes working at 100%

Since I live in Southern California, I use Karps Brake Service in Chino for most all of my brake rebuilding services. They are very good at what they do and he also has skilled workers in his shop to get the work done on a timely basis. I have never had an issue with them in some 35 years now. That is a good track record in my view.

Wow! That is good to know. Thank you very much for letting me know that.

Good morning guys. Thank you for the replies to my post. Please dont be offended if I did not reply to your comments as the pop-up advertisements are covering up most of what I can see.

This is great information. I moved this thread to the Brakes forum and made it a sticky so it will be easier for others to find. Thanks for the tip.

Thank you. I am getting so many pop-ups on this site that I could not find the right place to post the thread. The booster is there now in Chico, CA. As I mentioned before, the manager, Jeff was very helpfull and patient. I also ordered a new master cylinder to install since it is all apart.
I appreciate you moving my post to the correct place. Thanks again.

A buddy of mine shipped his '70 Fury booster to them. He was very satisfied.
BTW: do I see a 9C1?
Actually it is a B4U which is pretty close to a 9C1. I have been driving that car since 2000 and have only had to do minor work to it. This winter, I went all out and did the distributer, cap, wires & plugs. Since the water pump has to come off that got changed. It was the original. I swapped out a couple tensioners and all of the belts. I put on all new hoses and a thermostat as well I also put all new rotors, pads, wheel cylinders all the way around. I had to replace the brake lines that go over the rear axle and all of the hoses. Changing those plugs and wires was a total nightmare. The 350 LT! is running and stopping like a brand new car. I used to work in a Corvette repair shop. I thought they were a pain to change.
