Ram truck sales are really climbing....still.

Kind of the full size station wagons of today along with the SUVs. Somehow sad IMHO.

That's true. Still got the watch he got for 100.000 kms with one of these from the manufacturer.

Thank god those stupid avalanche and Cadillac pu are going away hopefully the idiots with that mentality are going away also

That is neat. Maybe better now, but the GM of the 80's should have given you a gold watch if you were willing to put up with that for 200,000 Kilometers.

I'm seeing a ****-ton of new Rams everywhere. They are good looking. One of my buddies just bought a new Red one with black leather interior and it's pretty bad *** and there's a nice grey metallic one across the road from me that's really sharp.

I think I saw a breakdown somewhere showing the figures for the big three that only had the HD trucks. If I recall, Ram was right up next to Ford in the heavy duty truck sales. I know living out in the oil field, I sure see a lot of hot shot drivers in the Rams. I wonder what percentage of total sales for Chrysler/Fiat is from the Ram trucks. I think I recall reading that the profit margins are huge on trucks.

Too many people who buy these shouldn't.

True, but evidently it's what the people want.

i am on an RV forum that tracks this stuff closely. It's a constant bashing of each other's brand of truck choice over there. Even when I was in a one ton F series truck, I was rooting for Ram. The interiors are amazing, and the exterior is easy on the eyes as well.

Are you saying he got a watch for getting 100,000 kilometers on a truck .. really cool story. I would like to hear more

That's the type of watch you got, mine is still working after well over 50 years. Usually the dealership, (in this case Hanomag of Hanover was the truck manufacturer) where you had the truck inspected took care of the process, my grandpa as the employed Driver got it then, there was some sort of certificate as well, which is no more there.

There was a 200.000 km as well, not sure if they displaced the 100k Version as this was no big deal in later years or if it was given away additionally.

Did you hear about the watch I bought from the Salvation Army for five bucks and a guy offered me a thousand?

This actually somehow made me think of this watch I mentioned. Don't think anyone will offer more than 50 for this one though; but you never know. :)
