The heat and humidity was brutal this year at Carlisle. i managed to take 226 photo's. Please be sure to check out the "Mod Tops" cars. A few had the mod interiors too. I think they are real cool cars. I'll post a couple of photo's for now and post the rest from a photobucket file that I'll create later today maybe. Wish everyone could of been here. I had a great time talking to Dave and his wonderful family. Enjoy!

Thanks, can't wait to see more!
still without power but the tree is off the roof and I am sick of being hot!

It's a lot of work going through a million photos, reformatting them, uploading them and your efforts are really appreciated.

me too......I'm still surprised he passed on the opportunity to slap me for selling my Polaras

The heat was tough.........not too bad in parts today with the light breeze blowing, but I still drank 3 waters in less than 3 hrs and did not have to use the john! Looks like carlisle will miss the rain again today

Thanks everyone. I wish I could of stayed at the show longer. I had to get to get one more physical thearpy treatment on my back before going to Wisconsin. Dave is a Mopar diehard! He get's to the show on Thursday and stays until the very end on Sunday night. Note: Sunday only 90 degrees.

Any idea when you're going to get power and get the house fixed?

Hey thanks for asking! The power finally came back on yesterday evening at 6, ironically the storm came through and the power went out as I was supposed to be jumping in the truck with 3 friends for Carlisle and the power finally came back on just as they were throwing in the towel and heading home. My parts went without me and they thankfully sold some of it so I won't have as much to store at the new shop.
As for the roof and all the debris? The insurance company will be handleing all that. The roof has a temporary patch on it now.

Great news. I know what it's like not having power.

I stayed until the very end on Sunday as well, but its not much fun watching every else scurrying outta there.

Actually Dave and family arrived mid Wednesday and left the fairgrounds by noon on Sunday. We had to head home, do laundry and repack for a week at the beach.

This site sucks for uploading photos and its even worse now with the new software. So much for improving things...

I had great time meeting and talking with your family!

Just great! I just back home today. Going to NTC and DC this week. Went out on Green Bay and caught a bunch of nice yellow perch and a huge sheepshead. The sheepshead got away when we tried to net it. We want to remove those nasty fish from the fish population. I also got to visit Newp (Mike and his wife) on my way to Wisconsin. He had some great door panels, dash pad, door and window switches that I needed. Thanks Mike!
How was your trip to the beach?
