I have to ask, how do folks find all these CL ads? Ever since CL threw a hissy fit and got all the searching programs that looked at the different CL locations shut down, I haven't been able to search the US for car ads like I once did. How are you all doing it?

Theres programs that do that? cool!

I just use google with site:craigslist.org added at the end for eg - dp4b site:craigslist.org

This brings up everything ever advertised, so hit the the Search Tools button in-between the search bar and the results and click the anytime option and change it to day, week or month and instant relevant results! you can add the area in front too eg - nashville.craigslist.org

Recently i have discovered that search engines in general don't search for 3 letter terms/words, but it seems to work ok with - mopar 383 site:craigslist.org - for eg

Nice looking car with good options, 4bbl & 915 heads, would not pay that for it though

Had 915's on my 383 67 SF but they had the small exhaust valves.

I had them bumped up last summer when I had them rebuilt

Im pretty sure it was the head that all BB 67's got? anything ive seen advertised (that lists the head cast #'s) has had them, even 383's

I did some research on the 67 915 heads. What I found is that the 2780915 is a casting number. The part number for this head is 2806762, and the application was 1967 440HP engines only.
All other 64-67 big blocks, (361, 383, 413 & 426), were equipped with 2406516 cast number, 2406732 part number heads.

This makes sense to me as the 915 heads are not real common and would be much easier to locate if all 67 383's came with them.

I've heard of other cases where 67 383s had the 915 heads. I can't recall now but seems like it was an early or late thing .. at any rate mine had them and it was a upper 60K mile car when we bought it and it looked untouched mechanically.

Mine was a 2 BBL commando engine. The difference in these heads and the 440 HP 915s is the 383 2 BBL versions had 1.60 ex valves. It wasn't cheap to have them changed to 1.74's either :)

There are a plenty for you to have so you shouldn't have much trouble locating all you need and if you already have Texas cleaned out I've got plenty up here for you. I knocked one over on my foot day before yesterday and it still hurts

I have 2 sets. One on my 440 in my fury. And the set on my orig 383 from my fury in my shop.

You are all set then although I don't know what your point was since your Fury is a 68, unless you just felt like putting me down for messing with the heads I have and sharing some information and personal experience.

I was responding to a comment about 67 engines and specifically 915 casting number heads.
