I Hate Suprises!

Just Beautiful Chris, any before shots?

I'll get some before shots from the customer but here are some during pictures.

Looks like pan patch, trunk pan and drops, sub connectors (who's are they?), quarter patch x2. Did I miss anything?

That's most of it along with holes all the way up both sides for aftermarket moldings that I had to weld up and quite a few dents and damage all over. The connecters are home made as nobody makes them for e body 'verts.

So, what is it like to call an 800 # and have a shiny new trunk pan arrive (that fits) at the door?
I wouldn't know. :D

It's one of the luxuries the A B E body guys have. For most of them rebuilding a car is as simple as picking up the phone, or going on line they can order every part know to man. Now a good body man and painter is still hard to find. I'am glad we have Chris here as our go to guy!!

Looks great Chris! Was it a purple car originally? I vote for white stripes.

No Matt it was originally a B5 blue 318 car. Now it will be a Plum Crazy 440 R/t clone. I agree with the white stripes especially since it will have a white top.

I'd rather have seen it go back to blue, that's a shame. I don't mind purple cars but there were enough of them from the factory IMO.

I agree Matt but I don't get involved with color choice. We've done a few cars for this guy and while he's not too concerned with originality they are all very nice cars when done.

People used to be always changing cars to B5. I had a 70V code Lime Light RR that was painted blue .. wish I still had that one

I prefer the blue by far but I know the purple is a very popular color. I wouldn't hate having a purple car but I would never paint a car purple that wasn't originally.
