Looking closer, that hump was made out of an old kleenex dispenser. Crude.
Mine was a perfect repop of the factory's.

Even then, that home made box is way too small to house a shifter for a 4-speed.

Says it has new floors ... why not correct hump ??. Also i don't know but that big hump between the seats doensn't look like other B body floors I've seen.

Wonder if he was planning to put a 5 speed in it at one point. Or does this year that way?

Anyway seems like an honest car and parts ... I'd say its in the ballpark if that's a car you were looking for.

Word of caution that may be a 3 speed since it's a slant six car, and a 65 should have the flange at the back of the trans vs the slip in yoke (65) originally and the qtr panels may be the ones we've seen jutting out on other "restored" cars like this.
