Looks good in the picture... Could be a good deal too!

But the photo was taken 15 years ago. Seems to be an honest description. ..what's it look like now? That's the question that begs

Agreed. This is his baby and yet the guy has no current or more recent pics? 15 years is a lot of time.

Beautiful car.. guy sounds honest / reasonable.. nice color combo (This is about as close I get to "brown cars" :-)

More pictures pls! There should be a mandatory minimum of 5 pics, to put an ad on CL!

It looks like a nice car I too want to see more I'm not driving to Denver to get it but I still want to see it.

Why? For photo collectors? None of us are buying anyway....If we are then make the call

That's a nice combo but with that paint color it'd look killer with tan top and interior.

The car is owned by a fellow FCBO Member. In fact, that's me driving it back in 2000! Indeed, very solid, well loved and lots of parts to go with it. Here is another pic from that same day.

I love a white interior too but my first thought with the top up on that car was saddle tan.
whatever the color, I don't think it'll last long at that price since there's now firsthand knowledge of it.

You set the hook, now please elaborate

Nothing more to really elaborate on. Don't get me wrong, it will need to be refinished, but mostly cosmetics. I think that an interested buyer will see all that needs to be done right up front. I've seen the collection of parts too, and from what I remember, lots of NOS.

The white is very nice on this one. I'd jump on it myself, but I know he wants to move it quickly and I wouldn't be able to manage getting out there for a few months. The wife actually said that if I got rid of "all the other junk cars, we could have that one and be done!"

$4500 for a nice vert, with the original engine, nope, won't last long.

All we need to do is find the member who types entirely in upper case and we'll know who it is to ask him why...
1. He didn't post it here (just curious), and...
2. He can't supply at least one current picture.

Step forth and identify yourself sir.
Are you embarrassed of us or the current state of the car?

Is the 69 polara a rust free parts car?? I could use that!

It is a 318 4-door sedan that is my daily driver, I'm pretty sure the front passenger floor has rusted through, rear window frame has rust (not that you would need that), windshield leaks. Stub frame is solid, trunk pan mild surface rust on the inside (from rear window leaking) lower quarter (inside and out) both have been replaced, one fender has a poor (unfinished) repair, other side needs the lower patched as well.

Woo! Make it happen Alan, you need this convertible!

Do I need this? No, Do I want it? No, Would I enjoy it? Yes!

I do not have money in the bank (at least not available for another car) so I would need to sell the two vehicles. I'd prefer a wagon as i would loose the truck. I had a Sebring convertible and miss having a convertible (not the payments, insurance, registration maintenance cost...)

I think both the Polara and the truck are worth at least $2000 each.

If down the road I end up with a different car it would be my daily driver so I need to keep that in mind.
