Dennis. That's his name.

A friend of mine took this photo, as well as others, he will be writing for a small magazine and needed "Build Stories" and as he put it, you can only have so many stanced and lowered cars, you need some Detroit Iron to draw as many people as he could.

Well I put together the rear brakes using the cables and cylinders I bought and the stuff that was in the trunk when I bought it, had to buy a new master, and I've nearly got good brake pressure, the rears are giving me problems (needs a brake hose)

You are getting there Nick. The brakes on Goldie were a pain it. It seemed to take for ever, because it was the last step before taking her out for her first drive. After I decided to replace everything it went better.

Yeah, I need a rear brake hose, I have no rear brakes at the moment. But.........I've been dying to get it out, renew my energy. soooo.....

While it felt great, it did give me some more area's to look at, there is a horrible oil leak ( I mean it's worse then a drip), Speedo still doesn't work, nor do the horn, signals or hazards. and well the parking brake doesnt release enough to shut the light off in the dash, so I'll have to adjust it.

Love the video, that Fury sounds like Christine! Too bad it doesn't work that way. You drive the odometer runs backwards and the car rebuilds itself.

Gee......... How did I know the Fury convertible project was going to suffer when this car came along....... :edgy:

So, the verts back outside under a tent? :violent-smiley-100:

A climate controlled garage is hardly a tent.................I want to do my convertible "Right", it's my baby, and the longer I own it, the better I want it to turn out, thats why it's gotten nothing but the best parts I can buy, that's why I've taken my time to do everything for it.

Dennis on the other hand is nothing but practice. he's only got used and severely discounted (read cheap) parts.

Tried giving the hood a buff to see if the 20 something year old paint would clean up decent, I think it will look okay for now.

that paint came back nice. what are the holes for in the metal panel above the speedo? my 69 doesn't have them. also sent you a pm.

My second C all times was a 73 Fury more door... So I feel at least little related with this one. It was Black Sedan, BB w/blue interior, real Finn stuff. I loved it!

nice fab on the panel

Thanks Jim, invisioned it in a dream, woke up at 3 AM, drew it out on a piece of paper and went back to bed, started on it after I got up and had my coffee in the garage.

I Have always had a gift that way, I can see something in my head, and be able to make it out of any material. It's a skill I'm proud of.

Anyway......Metal work......and lots of it...Cut rust out, weld metal in, bodywork, then blow in paint to match.........11694997_10206913929144157_1501700698775249014_n.jpg11667362_10206903274757804_2784683009757123108_n.jpg11012183_10206902687663127_1739013903180479857_n.jpg10390091_10206902682943009_2975221812687286190_n.jpg1517488_10206902682903008_2646384730184736281_n.jpg11101388_10206900521648978_6564500950535218395_n.jpg11403337_10206900521728980_2852077064160183764_n.jpg11224429_10206900525649078_5507417188065060691_n.jpg11700853_10206901117263868_8384418496601889549_n.jpg11226068_10206903274797805_1030907175291299699_n.jpg
