Very cool, thanks for posting. So what rims would be standard issue on a 1971 GT? It says on the window sticker Rallye Road Wheels.

Dave

Ok I found it. Number 4, my favourite C-body wheel!

The guy that was selling those was collecting Fury parts for a hell of a long time. A real good Mopar guy. He is the same guy I bought my NOS centers from. He had and still has a lot of stuff tucked away

obviously you've been in touch, the ad says call for price, how much?

Actuelly i asked them in what price range i have to think.................
They won,t hang a price on it before the car is road worthy.
I got one picture of them , almost the same as the other in this topic , no recent pic,s !?!

If that is the same car that will be for sale, it looks like the torsion bars have been really cranked up a lot, as it is unlikely the engine is missing since that is a car show. I think it would look a lot better from the rear if the rear bumper applique was black instead of white - less gaudy. Easily fixed though.

Yes , that,s what i thought when i saw the second picture , carshow so there is an engine in it ( i think ).
Cranking up is okay for 62-65 early B Body,s...........imo.

It was the baddazz look for the period.
Crank it up and 90/10 shocks.

I offered to drive out overnight and be there tomorrow morning to look the car over( nine hour drive ) . They said it was unavailable to view on Saturdays. They are installing correct road wheels and mufflers......No photos or price available. I would have left the house soon and caught an early breakfast.

I dont need them ruining anything, just let me buy it as is.........

Unfortuneatly see this going for a few bucks...they've done thier homework....thought it'd be nice to have set but alas no room...if yer serious hope ya git it

I'd HAVE to go on a weekend, and it could certainly be gone by then, this weekend was the right time. I know its gonna be outrageous but I feel compelled to inquire. For me however this isnt a gotta have car.

Smart move Dave.

Early bird gets the worm!

My take is it will be listed for 30% over market.

Black is always a desirable color, if it was green it wouldn't have the pull.

I would advise you (not that you need me to) to buy it, if you can afford it.

I've only seen one other 1971 Sport Fury GT in black in 28 years of searching. It wouldn't be difficult to let it go when you are done with it.

The price should be in the atmosphere by now, guys. Thanks a lot. The wrong person is sure to get it now.

not like your gona keep a black 71 GT secret for long with dealer floggin crap outa it...l see a tour on ebay after top dollar...in the end can only bring more of a spotlight to C bodys giveing them more of a boost...
with all the GTs,300s,hursts ect in various stages of restoration is gona be some nice cars out there in the near future imo...
