How many Nunzies can still be alive? That is an old world name...

Did it have his age on that search?

Here's a picture of the fender tag. unnamed.jpg

yes, it is a factory show car (Y93 code). Also to be seen in the VON starting with M0).

The car was produced probably before the first of august.
They were shipped to the dealers in the thrid week of september, just before presentation of the "new" models (new modelyear).

So it didn't sit too long till early november

It deserves to stay alive not parted out

Id still part it ...

So what do they mean by "show car finish" did they just cut and buff the paint? What was the reason for that? Was it actually a show car or promotional car?

factory "show cars" do have different jobs.

Somtimes they were sent to car shows and got displayed.
But as mentioned before the new models were presented to the public dealers in mid september.
They were not displayed to the general public before.

Early ones like this one were usually loaded. Chrysler dealers could travel to Michigan and see the "new" cars before they were officially released

17th car built, it should be saved. Its not too far gone.

Just a thought on this "show car finish" thing.
Rather than have this description refer to the paint finish, could it be a cryptic way of saying to the assembly line, "This car is for show purposes. When it's finished, inspect the crap out of it"!

Just putting it out there that I will be putting this car on Ebay sometime this week. Like I said before, I would really like it to go to another C-body guy. I would love for it to go to a good home, but if somebody needs it as a parts car, I'm ok with that too. Also keep in mind the car has 50k original miles on it. $2000 takes it.

I'm surprised this rare beauty ended up this way with its provenance.

Bob how many people are fender tags nerds in the C-body world?

@bigblockmopar66: Give it a very good clean before you put it on ebay exspecially the interieur.
Try to get it to run. Place it nicely for good pictures. Don't shout pix while the car is still wet from washing or the area surrounding it. Make sure no hose is to be seen in the picture.

That tag makes mine look like a blank slat. Road wheels as well, nice car with 50thou gentle miles I,m thinking

I'm sure there's always been talk about it being a show and one of the first built...
