GM terminology.

It's a throttle rod or throttle linkage in a Mopar. It regulates pressure to control upshift and downshift speeds. Different operation than a GM where it just trips a switch to control a solenoid to make the trans downshift.

I know... everyone says it... and it's like when someone says "Frigidaire", you know it's the refrigerator.
