I found this in a junk shop in Bham today. Boat stuff, I think.

Cool find! I love the look of the SW gauges.

I think that's from a diesel truck. Low RPM tach and air pressure gauge leads me to think that.

I have seen that SW gauge panel used in boats too.

I was just looking at it some more (I need a life) and that speedo isn't SW. I really thought it would not have been a boat because of the speedo. Now I see it has zero miles and isn't quite like the others. Probably something someone stuffed in there to plug the hole.

So... it could be a boat.

I noticed that too. The needle is a different style also.

What's the gauge in the upper left corner? I can't quite read it something pressure.

The anchor knob is out of place but other than that I agree with Big John it came from a diesel truck.

Somebody probably salvaged it from a marine app and repurposed it.

The speedo might be an unbadged SW. What's it say on the back?

If the tach is original to the set, it was a single engine diesel boat for sure.

I referenced a number found on the gage face and it is a S&W speedo.
This must have come out of a large boat so the diesel tach makes sense.
The gas gage has "6V" marked on it.

I found some info on H.A.M.B.
It's a SW gage set for boats, this model called "hollywood". Introduced in 1948.

That's cool. I was going to say that it must be for a C-body, since it has an "Anchor" switch.

What's also cool about all of this is - he found something, and within some internet searching found out info about something from 60 years ago.
