Down here on a "forced" vaca, there is only so much theme-crap I can take... need to be around junky smashed cars.

Doesn't have to be an old car yard; there is late-model stuff I like to hunt for. Must be a do-it-yourself style, standing at a parts counter is just as boring in MI.

I promise pics if you send me!

Never been to one of them except one in Bartow and one in Wauchula. Bartow is OK. Forget Wauchula.

Sorry Carmine, I just picked up on this thread... I am working my long schedule all week, but if you're around on the weekend I would enjoy meeting you and I always enjoy a walk through the yards... LKQ on rt50 and UPAP on Jetstream are my goto for older late model stuff, I haven't been in either for a while... their online inventories haven't been too promising for me lately. The Central Florida place had a few older cars I had heard, but I haven't been there. They were briefly a racing complex that got cut short by noise abatement. I was told by several that they were not very competitive on their pricing... but who cares if all you want is a look around.

I don't believe any of the others operate as "do it yourself", but may let you into their yards if you ask.

Saturday or Sunday, I can gather tools and meet up if you like... give me a heads up if you want any specialty tools. PM if any of that works for you. I blew my back out Thursday, but I should be good to go by the weekend.

BTW, I had considered tire kicking that wagon just to see where the heck that building was, thanks Stan, I think you nailed it.

you are most correct, Stan. it was an easy google. I just wanted to confirm that it is directly across from the arena. (circled in red)
