It's likely the 215 will be ok, however A) looking at the specs on the automobile-catalog.com website reveals the standard size was hr78-15 which B) a post on the pirate 4x4 web forum reveals to be h- highway r-radial 78-width and 15 - 15" rim/wheel.
They suggest the p-metric equivalent is a 225 75 15. The main considerations are that it's a very heavy car (basically the 1969-73imperial) so probably the largest tire that fits is best, and as Stan pointed out you need to get the speedometer corrected for the tire you choose.
No one is having a go, just wishing you to have the best driving experience you can based upon what they have with their cars.
