Wasn't even completely sure how to word this in the title. As many of you know, Mopar liked to use plenty of plastic-y parts for attaching their window regulators to the window. Also, most of you know these parts like to get super brittle over 40+ years time.

So, my question is this: where can I find these poly or plastic parts that are starting to disintegrate and cause my window to become dislodged from the regulator?

I saw this kit for an E-body, but I can't confirm if they're the same size or not. And the diagrams in the parts catalog are laughable in determining what part is what. WINDOW REPAIR KIT 1970-72 E-BODY DODGE PLYMOUTH MOPAR CHALLENGER CUDA

Here's a pic of the part that is falling apart (and I'm sure the other ones are on their way):

Try RT Specialties to see if new ones are available. Otherwise Murry Parks can probably provide some used ones.
These nylon pieces seem ideal for someone with a 3D scanner and printer to repop.

Yeah, i have a parts manual. Have you looked at the window images? It's like a jigsaw puzzle. Haha.

Finally got my rear quarter window back together. None of those parts are common to other body styles or vehicles nor reproduced.

Fan-tastic. I take it you have a '70?

No. I have a 65 Monaco. The 65 - 68 c-body 2dr hardtops have a unique quarter window mech. The window does a little pivot as it goes down. It involves five different rollers and track guides. The quarter window is so long it has to pivot before the rear corner hits the wheelwell.

Any success? I'm in the same boat with my '71 Fury sedan. Three windows have various missing/broken parts. Anybody?

No success. Hard to believe no one has had to replace this part seeing as it was in a lot of C-body windows.

This coming weekend I'll be in Atlanta where I know a huge hardware store. The friend I'm visiting is very good at coming up with ways to fix things. Keep your fingers crossed that he succeeds and if so I'll get extra parts and take pictures. It would be great to have a "problem solver" for that failure-prone mechanism.

Thanks much. That'd be great as I have a couple other windows with the same problem.

Well, it certainly looks close. I might have to pick them up on payday and see if they work. If I could remotely read the parts manual for the window mechanism, I might be able to cross reference the part number he put down. Maybe I'll just look at all the numbers for the window and see if any match the one he posted. There's only one part used that looks similar to the one he's selling, so if it's the same it'll be listed in the manual.

According to the seller's page, that part is not compatible. Maybe it's worth $13 to the OP to find out. I need the rectangular sliders too and hope to avoid old brittle parts that are likely to crumble...
Never pay any mind to the seller's list of compatibility..... Both directions... Match the part number up.

Here's how you do that....

Go to the numerical index in the back and find that part number.
That will give you the location in the parts manual. In this case, it's 23-64-272.
Look there for the applications.

I went ahead and looked it up and in this case, that is used as the fastener for the glass to lift channel across all the models.

Thanks for looking it up John. Much appreciated.
