Just posting this for anyone interested in buying aftermarket wheels. I know wheel size is beat to death, but still have to look hard for info. Hope this helps anyone who is interested in wider tires and a different look than stock. I included the stock tire pics and the new ones. The new ones are 18 inch rims, 4.5 offset and 8.5 inches wide. no clearance or rubbing issues.

I Rarely care for Bigger wheels on older cars but those look Nice and the car has a Good stance.

I'm gonna be the guy who rains on your parade. Seriously, I hate the wheels but I will look past them because I love the car and how you saved it.

I recently replaced the original 14 inch wheels on my 68 Sport Fury in anticipation of upgrading to disc brakes (which is being done right now). I went with 17x7 wheels with a 4 inch offset that look like the original Magnum 500s and put on 235/55/17 tires. These new wheels and tires are only 7/10 of an inch taller than the 14 inch Goodyear Eagles I replaced and also have no clearance issues.

Yes Sir, I know you hate them, but I sure do appreciate the praise on saving the car. I still got the steel 15 inch wheels and hubcaps just in case I want to go back

MoparJim,
I really like the way those 17s look on your car. Fit perfectly and you got that classic look of the mag 500s. Great looking car, great paint and cool stance

Yea, really like to know the tire size .I like how your car sits! I have the same car with "patina" & have the 18" rims already .. will get tires when I hear from you :)
Also have a 67 Newport convert, it will stay stock tho!

It takes some imagination but there are a lot of wheels that compliment our c bodies...
These are the 1981 Cordoba 15"x7"

Looks good Mrfixit

Sorry on the delay Tritter3, my car is at the shop and I tried to stop and look at the tire size today but they were closed. It'll be Monday before they open again to get the tire size
